I’m a beginner, where do I start?
In this article:
We understand that getting started can be overwhelming, but we're here to help. Below, you'll find three options tailored to different learning styles. Choose the one that suits you best. If you need further assistance, please contact our Mentors team, mentors@musora.com.
Workout and Challenges
Workouts are fun play-along lessons that help you hone in on your musical skills. They cover various topics and have multiple difficulty and duration options.
Challenges are a collection of workout-style videos that build your skills one step at a time. They help you develop broader musical skills at a manageable pace — usually over a few days. 30-Day Independence, 30 Days to Better Strumming, 5 Days To Transform Your Voice, and 30 Days to Better Technique are all examples of these types of learning experiences.
The Method
The Method is a learning path we have for all instruments. You can start from the very beginning if you’re brand new to learning the instrument or if you need to freshen up on the basics.
If you already have some experience and aren’t sure where to start, you can take the placement quiz by clicking the where to begin button which will guide you through a series of questions to place you where you should start your lessons. Please note that unfortunately, our placement test isn’t unavailable on the Musora App at this time.
Personalized Lesson Plans
A personalized lesson plan is a custom-tailored learning experience. It takes into consideration your unique learning needs, strengths, interests, and goals. Unlike a one-size-fits-all approach, a personalized lesson plan takes into consideration various factors such as your preferred learning style, pace, prior knowledge, and specific areas for improvement.
